ABOUT ME

I graduated from the accredited 4-year postgraduate program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine with a degree of Naturopathy. During the fourth year of my medical training, I completed my clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic as well as the Sherbourne Health Centre which focused on providing care for Toronto’s HIV positive community.

Prior to my medical studies, I graduated from York University earning an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology. Before discovering naturopathic medicine, I considered pursuing a career in pharmacology. I have several years of experience working as a pharmacy technician where I learned the ins and outs of the conventional healthcare system. Through this experience, I was able to gain an appreciation for the benefits of prescription medication and their role in the healthcare system but quickly realized that there had to be more to healthcare than pharmaceuticals.

When I discovered the world of naturopathic medicine, I instantly knew this was my calling. What I am passionate about and find valuable in healthcare resonates with the guiding principles of naturopathic medicine: to treat the underlying cause of disease, to teach and share knowledge with patients, to heal the whole person through individualized treatment, to emphasize disease prevention and health promotion, and to support the healing power of the body. I enjoy and value the time I am able to spend with my patients as well as having the ability to guide and empower them to finding their path to health and wellness.

I work with patients of all ages and for a variety of health conditions with a special interest in digestive health, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stress management, and perinatal care.

I am registered and in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and I am a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
